Description
A magical journey through Los Arcos National Marine Park invites you to discover one of the ocean’s most fascinating natural spectacles: bioluminescence. In this experience, visitors paddle under the starry sky in kayaks or on paddle boards while thousands of microorganisms illuminate the water with blue flashes, creating a landscape that seems straight out of a dream.
The tour includes time to paddle toward the rock formations of Los Arcos, snorkel among the underwater glow, and explore the park’s caves and grottos. All under the guidance of an expert who shares stories, biological curiosities, and details about this protected marine ecosystem.
The experience begins with a meeting in Mismaloya, where the group prepares to set sail. Depending on the phase of the moon, the brightness of the water reveals different nuances: sometimes an intense glow, other times a subtle and mysterious luminescence. Whether at night, at dawn, or at sunset, the result is always the same: a deep connection with nature and a memory that lasts long after the light dissolves into the waves.
Approximate duration: 3 hours.
Two times: 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (varies according to the season and moon phase).
