Description
The best tour to the south of the Bay, with this boat tour you will be able to admire the port from the sea and get to know the best places to visit during your stay in Puerto Vallarta.
First you will visit Los Arcos, an ideal place to swim, snorkel and appreciate the underwater scenery or admire the natural beauty and its colonies of sea birds. Afterwards you will arrive at Las Animas beach (beach only accessible by boat) where you can relax, sunbathe, enjoy a delicious meal and enjoy more water activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. This tour has as an option (at no additional cost) to visit the fishing village of Quimixto, where you can hike through the jungle and reach its beautiful waterfall.

FAQ
Is parking available?
If you need, Puerto Vallarta API Maritime Terminal has a parking lot with a cost of $150 Mexican pesos for the whole day (not included).
How long will I be at each site?
You will snorkel at Los Arcos for 35 minutes.
Afterwards, if you wish to stay at Las Animas beach, you will be able to enjoy 3 hours of beach time. If you wish to go to Quimixto, you will only have 30 minutes left at Las Animas beach, since the hike to the waterfall lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Is there any place where my luggage can be stored?
It is not possible to store luggage at the maritime terminal, however in case you have luggage you can take it with you on the tour.
Is this activity suitable for seniors?
Yes, thanks to the fact that it is a very quiet tour, adults can also come, the activities that require a little more energy such as water activities or the Quimixto jungle hike are optional. Consider that it will be necessary to transfer from the catamaran to a smaller boat to go down to the beach, you will have help from the crew for this process.
Can I bring a cooler with drinks?
Unfortunately this tour does not allow coolers, however, it will not be necessary since the activity includes an open bar on board the boat.
Do I need to know how to swim to participate in the water activities?
It is not necessary as you will be wearing a life jacket and everyone will be under the supervision of a lifeguard. We also emphasize that the water activities are optional and if you do not wish to do any of them, you can wait on the boat.
Are pets allowed?
This activity allows dogs that can go in a carrier while they are on board the boat, once on the beach they can leave their carrier.
What is the cost of the horseback ride in Quimixto?
Approximately $15 to $20 per person, this service is optional and can be purchased while in Quimixto.
How many people go on the tour?
Approximately 100 people, it is a 2 level catamaran.
Can I bring a fishing rod?
Unfortunately, fishing rods are among the objects not allowed by the Puerto Vallarta API Maritime Terminal.
What can I do if I bring my luggage?
No problem, you can take it with you on the tour.
Is it possible to rent ATVs on this tour?
At Las Animas beach you can rent an ATV to go to the Quimixto waterfall, however currently clients cannot drive the vehicle, a guide must drive and the clients ride on the side. The current price is $600 per person.
