Description
You will venture to the city of Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos, where you will visit its beautiful cathedral of Indo-Christian architectural style, which dates back to the 16th century and claims to be one of the first Franciscan constructions in Mexico. Before continuing your experience you will have time to browse the local handicrafts or have a cup of coffee.
To continue with your experience you will head to Taxco “The City of Silver”, in the state of Guerrero; where you will visit a replica of a silver mine to learn about the importance of mining in the colonial economy and today. You will enjoy a welcome cocktail and an exhibition of fine handcrafted jewelry.
You will continue with a walk through the emblematic streets of the city, until you reach the famous Church of Santa Prisca, where you will be able to appreciate its baroque architectural style. The guide will tell you about the interesting history of the church and especially about the man who made its construction possible, considered the wealthiest man in New Spain.
